Trying to craft 3 star gear.

I am trying to craft the 3star DoH/DoL gear, I have used the FFXIV Crafting Optimizer site. And this is what I have come up with.



I was just wondering is there is any improvements I can make to it, before I start crafting.(BTW I can get High level crafting buffs from my FC if needed.)

Looks fine in general. I think I have taught some people to use similar rotations before. But now that I think about it, I would swap the first few Prudent Touches with some of the Hasty Touches. This way, the 100%-secure Prudent will land under the effect of Ingenuity for sure. Currently, if Hasties fail, you kind of wasted the window which Ingenuity is active.

Also, currently, the last Hasty Touch is not protected under Steady Hand or Steady Hand II. One quick fix to this would be to begin this round of touches with Ingenuity first, and then SH2, before spamming the 5 touches.

Lastly, it is unnecessary to use SH2 for the finisher phase. You could save 3 CP by using SH instead.

If you're going to craft at those exact stats, and want to use Makers Mark, I would suggest something like this



if you can get 1 more cp you can use this one



They are both slightly lower potential quality, but your rotation has a less than 9% chance of hitting that maximum potential, while both of these are 100 guaranteed quality increases.

I saw that I made a mistake because there is no SH2 at the end.Now I could only get the above to work if I cut out 1 Prudent but I ended up with less quality. So I redid it. And if I can add 20CP to my gear I could use this one.



I am still not very good at using that site.

If you're going to craft at those exact stats, and want to use Makers Mark, I would suggest something like this

TBH I don't like using maker mark but I really don't have the stats to try anything else. ( I am way to dumb to work anything else out )

I will be giving your rotations a try as I don't really trust anything I can come up with.

For a specialist and using Maker's Mark, and supposing you are not using macros, I would use Whistle While you Work. With Maker's Mark you have so many steps that is very likely that Whistle gives a nice quantity of CP back, plus a couple of steps at the end. And you can use Tricks of the Trade too to obtain CP. For macros Maker's Mark is not practical, but for manual crafting when you are not confident of being able to do it otherwise (and you craft just a few items for yourself), it is a good thing.

50+ steps, with 10k HQ needed at best? Just save yourself the pain, learn to use Whistle and guarantee HQ from all NQ.
