    As a healer, not quite right direction at all. I took all 3 healers (WHM/SCH/AST) to The Burn and feel "the burn". Thanks to the last boss, had a DRK tank throw tantrum randomly 'cause apparently my heal is too weak as ilvl 366 while I barely can dps. That disgusting dot that I had to put esuna to not only a use but a spam. I wouldn't want to heal anyone that is ilvl 340 at all.

    To rate healer's ease of healing: WHM>SCH>AST. AST feels so horri-bad with the last boss due to the lack of burst healing oGCD. DRK is especially taking much more damage than the other two tanks because I keep seeing tank below 50% hp after the tank buster and it was a hell to keep up with.

    They can up the dungeon difficulty mechanically, but not this artificial difficulty by upscaling damage to a point that is barely recoverable.

    You all can say dungeon is boring all you want, but for a daily task this annoying, I'll pass.

    People say gearing will overcome it later and it will be back to the way before. While that may be true, I question myself if I want to even focus gearing healer this patch. I feel like healers should get paid to heal that fight.

    Well, you just can't say that something isn't faceroll easy in this game if you don't want everyone else to reply with something like "it's as easy as everything else in this game, you just aren't good enough"...

    Personally, I too thought that the bosses were a little bit harder than the bosses from previous dungeons. The trash pulls were easy as usual, but some of the bosses hit really hard if you messed up mechanics, even in ilvl 360+ gear. I did The Burn only twice, but it wasn't faceroll easy keeping the DPS alive if they all got hit by something. Some would say I'm the worst healer ever if I can't keep them up while dpsing full-time when they mess up mechanics that almost one-shot them. But I know that I'm not the worst healer in the whole world and you just have to heal a little more in that battle and be careful if someone gets hit by something. ^^
    The difficulty of some of the new bosses lies in the danger that IF you get hit, you get hit a little harder than by some of the bosses of other lvl 70 dungeons.

    I'm still hoping for actual difficult dungeons, akin to WoW Mythic+, where trash is deadly and bosses eat through the tank's HP with every auto attack. The Burn was very pretty, but we sleepwalked through it with 350ilvl gear and our healer pretty much doing only DPS, so it feels like I've been in a different dungeon. The final boss of the Arboretum did wipe us once, but once you understand what the mud does it's pretty much done as well.

    So yeah, pretty, but could still use a real bump in difficulty. Give us an actual expert roulette !

    means the dungeon was badly designed and not reflecting how the game must be tuned. if you plan the dungeon to be done in a certain range of ilevel you don't make it almost impossible to be done if you are at the top tier of the ilevel of this tier.
    Yeah....maybe...well too bad because now all dungeons are so easy that I can tank bosses in Deliverance and spam fell cleave ad nauseam: if they actually cared they would've made better-tuned dungeons and not just cakewalks.

    At least Pharos required some planning and some legitimate usage of brain cells to get through it ESPECIALLY because it was badly tuned.

    The dungeons did have a bit of an extra kick to them to be sure. For what its worth I enjoyed them and didn't snooze through them--definitely a better collection than Hell's Lid and Fractal HM imo.

    Also learned from a helpful member that the giant that does the rolypoly circle aoe can transform the adds if they're caught in it. Before I was just interrupting it.

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    Yeah, I don't like some of the new trends, like the bosses just spamming aoe towards the end of the fight, or starting to do enough damage that you dps a bit less. Or things like static adds so we cant group them to use aoe spells for dps. But at this point its pointless to argue with the everything is faceroll crowd.
