Actually, while I'd like it to be persistent, I like that it's time is a bit limited. I made a macro, where I target something, and it says I am checking the Aethernet for info on <t>, then I sigh and say I can't find anything helpful. I love it.

I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.

As nice as it would be to have it persist, I think it should stay as it is simply because when you swipe at it nothing happens. It'd be kinda weird for the character to keep poking it pointlessly if it doesn't do anything.

The animation is set up to be persistent but they decided against it. What a bizarre design choice.
I can poke it all I want. You don't pay my sub.

I have a BLU phone trust me when I say that would be true to life! :P
It's a running gag. Making it a persistent emote doesn't change that.

I’d really like persistence.
yeah! This not being persistent is about as bad as the Typhon mount not having sneeze

I don't care if it should be persistent or not (I although would suggest a longer duration for the emote for the following reason), but the only thing I would advice out of this emote is to put a meaning into it.
excitingly swipe at your tomestone. Nothing happens
If you swipe at your tomestone and nothing happens, then what's the point of extending the duration to persistent? At least give a sub command working like /me to show that you use the tomestone on something with purpose. Whenever I see anyone using tomestone and nothing happens looks at the character excitingly swipe at the tomestone, well, there's really no point to use that except for the look.
