Though I haven't tried placing it over a garden plot to see how it works yet.
The Patch of Gravel doesn't seem to clip through anything with a solid bottom (garden ponds, garden plots). It has about half the depth of the Stepping Stones, allowing you to see them through it and of course if you can see grass through something, you can see the Patch of Gravel. [edit: the gravel will completely cover gingko leaf piles and mostly cover the maple leaf piles so no gravel paths with wind blown leaves on them].

It was bothering me that the gravel in Kugane looks decent while this doesn't so I zoomed in as far as I could and took screenshots of both. The Patch of Gravel appears to use the same texture but reduced in size. I don't think it's generating shadows in the same way which leads to the oatmeal lumpy appearance instead of the sharp-edged gravel appearance. I did test it at my friend's house in Kugane and it has the same appearance as at my house so I don't think it's related to differences in lighting between older housing districts and the new expansion areas.

If it's just the texture size causing the difference then hopefully SE can tweak it to return it to looking more gravel. I really like the potential for this item in our yards, it just that little bit off right now.

Nice. I wonder if it's animated, and/or has a spotlight effect.

Says in the description that it rotates.

Someone told me the pot of cream stew was dyeable so I did a preview to see what changed. The cream color of the stew can be turned various colors. :O

Pro-tip: Only use green if you want to create a witch's brew...

Actually, considering I'm in the process of remodeling for Halloween, that would be perfect!

Guess we know what to load up the MB with as All Saint's Wake gets closer. Think I'll surprise my FC leader by setting some out in the FC house.

Yeah, the leaves currently are a little sad they don't show up on the gravel, however, if you have the snow patches, those do pop through, so come winter if you put snow in your yard, they will look like a cleared walkway to the house. That's my plan anyway.
