Yeah, Pyros is coming out in 5 weeks, apparently. I'm guessing that a bunch of people will work on Pagos as that gets closer. I did Pagos pretty regularly before 4.4, but I haven't touched it since the patch. I've got too much to do with the patch at the moment.Pagos was expected to take a dip around this time while people focus on doing newer content like the MSQ and raids. You can bet that in a couple of weeks the player count going in there will rise again, probably not to pre-4.4 levels immediately but it'll still be a few there to do stuff with.

The best solution they can do, apart of nerfing Pagos outright, is allow you to use Pyros tokens to upgrade; effectively allowing people to skip Pagos to some extent. Given how exceedingly unpopular Pagos turned out to be, it'd be a smart way to not bar people from trying what will hopefully be a better version of Anemos per Yoshida's comments. They've tried forcing people to do Eureka and it simply hasn't worked. Easing up on that now will go a long way I feel.
Pagos just want great and it sucks becuase as a relic grinder kind of person even I found it unbearably boring lol welp guess this will be the first one I do no do..
What i don't understand is why SE and players care soo much about the exit when you can just leave from the duty finder? Thats the only way i leave at least. I see no point in walking all the way to the exit however far or near it may be to my character. I understand the whole quality of life thing and i love that about SE but idk this seems like a waste. If they want to make something more visible how about the blue dots in the mini map showing party members. I cant see that barely at all.........

If there's no one in pagos, it's the perfect time to farm hakutaku eyes, take advantage while you can :P (since bunny fates die quick when there is few people)

not when drop rates are so abysmal. I'm glad I got the relic a couple weeks back as I knew this would happen by gating your relic progression to other players and unfair RNG. Sure, previous relic light grinds had you running dungeons/fates but at least those you can do at your own pace and you can queue solo. In Pagos you need a team to chain lights and you need a team to get full nm credit. Anything solo in Pagos won't get you anywhere. Pagos is bad period and they should feel bad.

This is why people do their weekly log in Anemos.I know it is day two of new content but I'm shocked that at 3:40 in the afternoon Pagos was completely empty. I was the only person in a instance when I logged and then one other person ported in and instantly left. It will be hard for people to catch up and hit 35 in five weeks for Pyros.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
The last thing I wanna do on patch day is go into Pagos or Eureka for that matter maybe in 5.X when there's a catch up mechanic then i'll do it.
I don’t do Pagos and already discard all Anemos gears & items.
I was quite into Eureka when it was new, now not so much, I haven't unlocked the second tier of it and I never will, ever.
