    Stuck at Connecting to PlayStation Network

    I was playing just fine but then I got booted and I've been suck at "Connecting to PlayStation Network" and it hangs there. Other games (ESO, DCUO, Fortnite, etc) connect just fine. PSN is up and running, WiFi is connected fine. I'm on PS4 (obviously) and connected by WiFi (due to policy where I live, I cannot have it wired).

    NA data center caught fire (not literally I hope) earlier this evening. If the issues have started on PSN I'm...honestly not surprised. If other games are running fine then imo it's definitely on SE's end.

    Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    Can you go into detail about what happens when you disconnect? Do you receive any error messages or does the game simply close? When you get to the "Connecting to PlayStation Network" screen, does it reconnect or do you have to close everything out? Do you receive any errors when trying to log back in after that?

    Generally, having a wired connection will be more stable, but if you can't use one, you can try moving the PS4 closer to the router if possible. Additionally, try to reduce the any conflicting wireless signals if you can, this would include appliances like microwaves.
