We’re aware that users are looking forward to additional ways to transfer items between characters on their own account while waiting for the delivery system planned for 2.0. Triairy spoke with Yoshida about this, and it turns out that it would be just as difficult to allow item transfers between characters on the same account as it is to implement the delivery system. However, he did say that he will look into possibilities like this.
We’ll be sure to share more details as we receive them!

it is impressive how "faulty" (but im sure we can use more strong words) this version of FF14 v1.0 is
lag
lag
lag
no ah
no mail box
no cs replay
and a buuunch of other issues..
Seriously.. what happened to QUALITY CONTROL?

always looking for good people.

the server and coding structure is xiv's version of "we cannot add things because of ps2 limitations".
it's a convenient excuse just like that was. once 2.0 hits half of these things will be changed to "we cannot add this because of ps3 limitations"

Why ask such questions when the answers to the problem are arriving near the end of this year/2.0 launch?
Besides that: It's pretty clear that the game was rushed out the door after the entire dev. team decided to run in 20 different directions with the code. Not to mention Crystal tools lacks what it takes to create a good MMO experience. Failure development tools + Failure development sytle + Higher ups forcing the product out the door = FFXIV 1.0
This has been discussed for so long its utterly pointless to ask questions about it now.

Yep. Not to mention that I'm pretty sure the people who would answer these questions weren't even involved with the project when those decisions were made so no use asking. It is what it is and we are going through this period now to fix those mistakes. Crying over spilt milk is simply not going to do anyone any good here. Why ask such questions when the answers to the problem are arriving near the end of this year/2.0 launch?
