Primal data center is acting weird

I've been testing trying to find some clue, especially with frequent d/c today. Ever since august, there have a lot of lag. The first thing I found is that lag usually happens around 5pm PST. Before 5pm PST game usually would be fine. This is impossible for me to overcome.

The second thing I found is that this lag only happens on Primal data center's worlds. I test this by making new characters on both Aether and Primal data center's worlds. While idling at Limsa lower deck on Malboro and Brynhildr with a lvl 1 character for 30 minutes, I would see the screen, npc dialogues, and players freeze and suddenly fast forward all their movements. I did the same thing on Aether's Gilgamesh and Faerie where player presence are very different, but there were no lag at all.

So there you have it. I don't know what is going on, but it looks like being on the west coast CA, primal data center is unplayable for me. Both data centers should be at the same location right?

From my understanding, both the North American Data Centers are in the same location, so it's odd that you are experiencing this. It could be due to congestion and server population nut the ones you chose on the Primal Data Center don't have high populations. You're character is on Leviathan, correct? I'm assuming you run into the same problem on that server?

I'd like to get some more information about your issue. Please provide:

- Platform (PC, PS4, Mac)
- Is this accompanied by any disconnections?
- Type of connection (wired or wireless)
- Other programs running while the game is playing (if any)
- Frequency at which error occurs
- Everything you have tried to resolve the issue
