Gearing recommendaiton for crafting.

Just recently got all crafters to 70. Currently finishing up getting my i290 pieces, need some advice on what crafting gear I should aim for next. Heard script gear is not the best, is there any script gear worth getting? Such as main or off-hand or just forget them?

It really all depends on how deep you wanna get into it. Yea, the script gear isn't the literal best, but making the current gear would be really difficult/impossible with overmelded i290. Using the gear as a stepping stone so you can make the newest stuff is certainly a possibility if you're fine with the scrip grind. You can do plenty of things with just the script gear, you just won't have the cp for macros for high-end materials.

On another note, the scrip gear pieces, aren't bad, especially when looking at upgrading, you can, for example get the Headpiece, chestpiece, hands, and belt without a major sacrifice to CP, and gaining a massive bulk to stats, the only bad scrip pieces are the accessories. It beats going through the hassle of crafting Ala Mhigan pieces to craft Onishi pieces, see above guide for some details. Which can dramatically lighten the load on reaching the requirements by any means.
