    ps4 version keeps downloading update

    my ps4 keeps repeatedly downloading a 12gb update. It installs, i can play the game. Then i notice its downloading another 12gb update. This has happened 2-3 times the past 2 days.
    the other day it downloaded a 23gb update.



    What is going on?
    I have accumulated over $195 in data overage charges because the game keeps downloading an update over and over again.



    This is not right and needs to be investigated. I don't have the date to keep updating 12gb files every day.

    Recently, the install data for the PS4 version of Final Fantasy XIV has been changed to utilize the PSN download system instead of a custom downloader. As such, any issues with downloading the PS4 version should be direct to Playstation support. You can get in contact with Playstation support here: https://support.us.playstation.com/

    This thread will be moved to the 'Separate Support Required’ subforum as contact with Playstation Support is necessary to resolve the issue.
