It is quite possible but I'm hoping for some more original content, this raid tier and the 24 man both being direct ports from other games was a little too much. 12 never felt any deeper than any of the other games to me.Honestly considering the next expansion is most likely going to be set in Garlemald, I think it's safe to assume the next 8-man raid will be directly tied to it.
I can see them doing something like having them based on the weapons from 7, with you fighting Diamond at the end of the first tier, Ruby at the end of the second and then Emerald at the end of the third one, with original bosses inbetween like in Alexander.
I agree, my GF was going crazy over this saying they should of learned from the temple of the fist not to do this EVER! again.
No it is not, stuff like this is hell for those with dyslexia, it needs to be changed and never done again. She complained though the ingame thing comments and suggestions and hoped they learned to never do that again. Also that one part in v3.0 seems like it can cause seizures.
Also the alpha 4 (omega 12) normal is way too easy and was disappointing to say the least.
Yes, they should never do this kind of thing, ever.No I know, but with no other tells the only way to differentiate between the two attacks is the "St" or "L" in his cast bar. With everything else going on, looking for those two letters can be problematic.
*Edit - especially problematic if you're already familiar with nautical terms and your brain just interprets the "arboard" as "Starboard" and you have to double-back and look again.
I just finished Alphascape a couple minutes ago and holy macaroni I am still a bit teary from that ending.
Omega had a really interesting story to tell that managed to make me feel for the characters involved, especially Omega and Alpha.
All the fights were really interesting, fun and challenging. Also for a pure Final Fantasy fan such as myself since FF VII first came out (21 YEARS ARE YOU SERIOUS ?!), fighting all these bosses from Final Fantasy V, VI and I with all these amazing songs was just pure awesome fan-service.
I also love how the last battle truly felt like a last battle in a Final Fantasy game, especially with that "ending" and Omega's appearance (which is straight out of Yoshitaka Amano's drawing from the box art of 1.0, which is kinda neat).
Stormblood had a rocky start and lot of flaws but the Omega raids is something I'll remember fondly from it.
Now time to grind while banging to those sweet musics

The similarities between the new boss in O12 and the 1.0 Collector's Edition artwork is crazy....
