@Altanas that kind of stuff will be around with the player-owned residences since they are not instanced according to interviews and such in the past. That type of stuff probably isn't possible at all with the current game and they're working within their limits.

First off, personal housing will be instanced. The neighborhood will have to be instanced. There is noting to suggest that they are not --sure, but if they are not, they have got to be the dumbest developers in the galaxy. Also, you can craft in ANY instanced area in the game. They actually written in deliberately that you cannot craft inside your residence. For what official reason? We don't know.

I am on the fence about it. I'd love to be able to craft inside my residence, but then again I see the points in not allowing it at the moment.

Anyway, there is no reason on the technical side why it's being blocked.

I guess my thought is why waste time and effort to make these inn rooms for us when they could make a more permanent house. WE have waited this long for something like this.. I can;t wait a little longer. I'd rather see a Mail system up and running to tell you the truth.

I do like the fact that there will be rested XP gain though!!!!

Because they have big plans for private housing and it probably can't be implemented without considerably dedicated effort.
