[dev1301] Private Player Residences Discussion

I was really looking forward to player residences, but this seems just like
some temporary & pointless thing to add at the moment.

I kinda imagined it to be somewhat more advanced version of FFXI's mooghouse,
and who knows...some day in 2.0 it might be.

I just dont see the point in adding this feature as it seems right now.

We might, id appreciate it more if i could craft furnitures,
general housing stuff & sell on AH / Wards...atleast in the future

Thats one of the biggest things & what made FFXI unique etc,
and hopefully FFXIV wont be less than that.

But ya, i'd like to sit in my house crafting too, invite friends and
show off my crafted furnitures, setup, my huge King size bed etc.

Player residences are not part of 1.21. With 1.21, we get inns, not residences

A residence is just where you live. It is not necessarily privately owned property. We now reside at the Inn, rather then on the street corner by Bric-a-Brac.

We are getting a Player Residence in 1.21. We will get an alternative type of Player Residence in 2.0.
