Rested EXP just like SWTOR, lol.
Rested EXP just like SWTOR, lol.
I dislike this.
To me, this is just a way to view cut-scenes and waste a few extra seconds to log off.
This should have waited until 2.0 if we can't do anything with it.
You dislike this? What DO you like?
The inns were made from incomplete content from the previous team, and they are freely useable. The residences we will get in the future require work to obtain and will have many more features. in the mean time, It's been a long time since you could stay at an inn in any final fantasy game.
Right! As interim content this should be easy and offer less value. That's the point, offer an easy entry mode to a place to stay, then as you work for it you get the good stuff.
And wont the inns be near the adventurers guilds. where the unused ingame inns already are?
or remember those cyber in aht urhgan,

always looking for good people.
It just goes to show you how big patch 1.21 is going to be when Player Housing is probably one of the smallest things being added...

maybe when they let you craft in there they'll have the bot policeYou can't..... craft in there? w-why??
It feels a step back 20 years, even in Secret of Mana your whole party could stay in your inn room ;o
It would be nice if the Inns took on a more human/social aspect, such as friendly npc's arriving unannounced with random quest offers or other random social occasions, similar to Grandia where you dont just stay at the inn you actually sit around a dinner table conversing with npcs. Chuck in the mainstoryline companion and you'd have an interesting way of bonding with your npc (think persona social link system).
An inn by its nature is a more public place. It would have been nice to have a place to invite the whole LS for meetings, roleplay (/gasp) and such (not saying you cant do that in the open world, its just having the option...)
These kind of social aspects help deepen an MMO and have that addictive "gotta catch em all" mentality to push it along.
