LoF is actually one of the best Gates at this point imo. It requires you to actually do something to get those 4k mgp. And it surely is fun to jump around on platforms, even if it sometimes gives you a moments of rage quit. Maybe that's why OP is ranting so much, because they couldn't perfect their jumping skills and just gave up?
My only issue is that currently people are farming for the 2mil mount and LoF is unplayable. If it doesn't kick you out of the server randomly, you have to navigate through hordes of players jumping on small platforms at the same time. Plus the rotation is a bit broken and LoF comes up way too often than it should.

On another note, as a person who moved here from WoW, I am actually impressed with how well FFXIV deals with the "entertainment" area. Gold Saucer is always active, unlike the WoW's Darkmoon Faire, which is a limited time event. The mgp payment is fair and farming it doesn't require you to complete some ridiculous sidequests outside of the location. This is ACTUAL entertainment and there are activities that could appeal to everyone. And yet still there are some people, who find the time to go on forums and rant about not being catered to. smh

they need more LoF instances. Too many people in there now you can't see the platforms.
