I am sensing a changing the timeline story plot now for upcoming 5.0 expansion.

Someone is calling out to WoL and the Scions which I can only guess he maybe from the future where WoL and his friends follow through with their war against the Garlean Empire but it resulted in the Last Calamity the Ascians needed to awaken Zodiark.

If I have to guess 5.0 may end up with a changing the preset (our time)/past (the Voice past events) to prevent this final Calamity.
