You buff SAM and RDM but what about MCH?!?
we're literally non-existing in dungeons , raids.
Pls help us... I don't wana have to do PVP to see a MCH.
Is this how SMN felt? Is MCH even in the game?

MCH doesn't need any major buffs, but it could do with multiple QoL changes to make it not feel clunky as all heck compared to pretty much every other DPS in the game, which is the main reason why it's not that popular. BRD does comparable DPS and also has good party utility but doesn't get its rotation totally ruined if you mistime its cooldowns like MCH does which makes it a lot easier to play overall.
Some things I'd really like for it that are:
1. Make Gauss Barrel and turrets only be disabled by their respective "cooldown" effects following overheat/Turret Overload, not removed entirely.
2. Make Flamethrower immediately trigger overheat regardless of current heat, but have the timer on overheat not start ticking down until Flamethrower is canceled to ensure you can get the maximum number of GCDs off every time.
3. Make Hot Shot, Cooldown, and Clean Shot not benefit from nor consume ammo (This would basically ensure that you'll be getting most bang for your buck potency-wise for any ammo you load as none of it will be wasted on shots that can't proc a stronger shot, and also further lowers the RNG involved in their rotation).

Beautiful. Thank you.
"heavily buff"
don't the buffs for both barely add 2% DPS across the board for each?
As for MCH, honestly, I wish they just added to HW MCH instead of gutting it the way they did, Overheat and Flamethrower were half baked ideas and implemented terribly, especially with how well HW MCH played in comparison, messing up an oGCD on your burst didn't hurt as bad as it does now, it also didn't feel "clunky" like it does now, I like they removed the cast times, but we got the heat gauge instead and honestly, I would take the cast times over the heat gauge any day.
MCH could use an overhaul as opposed to a buff imo, as it is now, it contributes to the party fine, but it just isn't fun since it got streamlined for Stormblood.
I feel people really over-exaggerate on the cast times, you would swear the jobs were unplayable because you couldn't run around like a headless chicken at all times.
Also, what do you mean by "dynamic fighting style"? MCH is so incredibly rigid in its playstyle, much more so than in HW, where you had a lot of stuff to keep track of, but it all flowed together nicely, with new MCH, there is less to consider and is incredibly restrictive in how you play it, I know jobs are always designed to be played a certain way, but with MCH, I feel like the flow just isn't there anymore and became needlessly awkward because of the gauge and flamethrower.
I genuinely believe the heat gauge added nothing of value to MCH (as well as some other jobs, like WHM) it played fine without it, I'm being dead serious when I say that the cast times on MCH would be preferable to the heat gauge, this is coming from someone who wasn't a fan of the cast times in the first place.
I think MCH will be getting the BRD treatment in 5.0 and be getting a little rework. If not I'll be a little shocked.
