Blue mage ' beast master ' dancer

I'd be fine with a healing dancer...but having to wear robes as a healer dancer before getting the artifact armor would be awkward imo. I'm going to have to come up with a new glamour using my beachwear/holiday gear. Unless they phase out robes for better looking healer equipment that is, especially for males. Dancers should have if not a fan, then a throwing weapon that comes back to them after each hit. About an earlier comment about Blue Mage's spells, summoner's egi's are locked until you beat the storyline primal, so it'll likely be locked in a similar way if they give Blue Mage primal skills. It would be way easier than a Eureka style grind.

Like i said blue mage spell farming is better plus thy need to add a new merit point grind something to keep ppl busys till new patch release

The simple solution would be to put them in NIN gear.

Are you saying their skills should be based on dex instead of mind? What about piety and sps?

This is why I think dancer is far more likely to be dps, and if and when we get another healer, it'll be something that can wear robes, like a geomancer or arithmetist.

Healers in the paradigm you're used to use healer gear and the stats are balanced around mind and piety because every healer we have in the current paradigm is a glitter mage.

There's no rule anywhere saying, "all healers must be glitter mages", and if there were, it would be a stupid rule. Putting DNC in NIN gear is a simple solution, because it's not hard to program their heals to use DEX instead of MND, and balance their TP expenditures against their TP regain.

We need a healer that is a Disciple of War, who isn't a mage at all, let alone a glitter mage, just like we need a Disciple of Magic tank who wears cloth or leather armor and tanks with magical defenses rather than being a literal darksteel howitzer with a bladed weapon. Every "but what about..." and "but how would they..." has an easy mechanical answer (because traits) and an easy lore answer (because magic).

i mean if Blue mage was gonna be a tank
and Dancer is a physical healer
they would have a trait to change there stats so they don't have to make new gear

Well GL lets see if thy make new healers thy may make up random jobs again but for the ppl tht said thy will quit because of all the dps roles u should quit soon because there always going to be more dps over tanks and healers this is final fantasy not WoW
