Your favorite cutscenes? (SPOILERS)

My favorite one by far is the first time we meet Hildibrands dad.
Still the scenes from the Christmas event when we told tales to children at that hospital was a very sweet one.
As for epic, T12.

My absolute favorite is the cutscene after beating Thordan normal. That one where he asks "What are you?" and the WOL is shown looking all sinister.

A close second is all the cutscenes leading up to the WOL's fight with Shinryu.

[Ramesses]

Absolute favourite:

• The Calamity scene at the end of 1.0... the sense of loss, the fighting (particularly where the team tears into the VIIth), Bahamut going berserk and Sensei giving his life to protect us. The feels remains till tomorrow.
• Subsequently, the cutscene at the end of Coil T12... powerful and it brings the tale of the Calamity full circle. The writers deserve a standing ovation.

Other scenes, not in any particular order:

• The scenes of Mission 46 from 1.0 where Legatus Gaius single-handedly takes on four of the Scions. That was the moment I realized I had a huge respect for the guy.
• The scene with the introduction of Godbert... and the scene introducing his wife. I'm still calling it that these two are the final bosses of FFXIV.
• The scene revealing Shadowhunter... I was literally cheering and clapping at my screen.
• Hauchy's sacrifice... it hit very hard.
• The scenes from 1.0 where Nael is in all our dreams (you need to log out from your room at the Inn for it to play) --- VIDEO
• The scenes for the level 50 and level 70 Dark Knight storylines... level 60 tale felt bland.
• The Alchemist level 50 scenes
• The beginning trailer cutscenes of Heavensward... the music, the walk in the cold, the gearing up in DRG gear... all of it. Which in turn makes me love the scenes in the "Final Steps Of Faith" (patch 3.3)... for me, these two scenes somewhat go hand in hand because it emphasized my evolution.
• Zenos' arrival at Ala Mhigo and the subsequent scenes where he begins to discuss "the Hunt". I remember thinking... "Finally, a royal Garlean with arrogant style"
• Ysayle transcending into Shiva and taking on the Gration flagship... that scene still makes me think we will eventually transcend "saiyan-style", just like her.

Many great other scenes that I can't recall just now... but yes, the Devs have given us some really moving scenes in this game. Many.

My favorite is one of the first PLD CSes. I forgot the name, but the one where you and the other guy pay a ransom for the Sultana's crown. The head bad guy brings out all his buddies and you are heavily outnumbered. The other PLD dude sends you away while he sacrifices himself to buy you time to escape. Just then Papashan appears outta nowhere with there other PLDs and Torn from the Heavens plays as they charge the hill. That was a very PLD-y CS. P.S. Game needs more Papashan.

Most Hildibrand cutscenes, but specially the one in Costa del Sol with the bombs, the "death threat" and the sneezing.
