Floating Islands

Unfortunately the game states at several points that the islands are a very rare commodity. For better or worse almost every aspect of the game revolves around the story and its lore, I can't help but think they boxed themselves out of that idea when they made the story.

Yeah but Imagine this! You reach a certain number of points, seals, number of members what have you, a quest then unlocks for the FC leader where you join an expedition funded by your GC and discover more islands!

Just one of many ideas how lore can be changed. Unless they go with "server limitations" in which case we are screwed.

I'm not disagreeing, I'd love to see sky islands for housing. I think there's a lot of ways they could make it work if they wanted to but history shows they generally aren't willing to.

I love the idea of the floating islands and even housing/FC assets on them... but, my question right now is... how do I return to the sky pirate's hideout? It's been years and I was trying to figure out how (or if?) I could return there for some nostalgia.

There are location in the Sea of Clouds where there are NPC's that will let you enter that location if I'm not mistaken.
