I would love for this to be addressed. Super inconvenient accidentally clicking on a fish tank and it spins my character around when have the camera angled a certain way. Same with clicking on walls and doting them instead of another character on accident!

Just has someone strip all the rare fish out of our fish tanks and replace them with BS fish.... some of those have stupidly rare windows only for someone to just flip them out.

The ability to change paintings and change fish needs to be a housing option to be disabled.

Except it's their house. too. Why are you not giving all your members a say in how the FC house is decorated?

That is slightly sarcastic, by the way, though only slightly. The problem demonstrates why people who say "if you want a house, join a FC' are clueless. Control over the primary housing feature - decorating - is generally locked tight under officer control. Members aren't allowed to participate.

I suspect that SE won't change it for a couple of reasons. First, there's probably a code limitation. Second, it's the only way the general members have to participate in decorating their FC house.

That is a pretty weak argument, considering that we can already set permissions to place/remove furniture (even specific types of "furniture" aka retainers), to dye furniture, to use the orchestrion, to even enter the building in the first place - just to mention a few.

Eating the food on display or taking the fishs out of the fishtank is not "participating in decorating". And if SE wanted every FC-member to have a default say in how the FC-house looks, they wouldnt haven given us the permission settings in the first place.
They've shown that they're able to implement permission settings like this and that they're willing to do so - maybe the code can only handle so many permission settings, who knows. But your second argument is just nonsense, given the permission settings we already have.

And there is also the inverted case in which you do want people in the FC to both place and eat some food (like a birthday cake), while not giving them access to other things.
