    Idk, doesn't Eureka have higher participation numbers than Savage and Ultimate? Pretty clear which content needs to be axed in favor of content people actually do enjoy...

    Obviously playing Devil's Advocate here, but this is likely how the dev team view things.

    I loved the concept of Diadem. I loved how they said it would keep getting updates. I was looking forward to those updates.

    They release Diadem, and it was a huge amount of wasted potential. Okay, they promised updates; let's wait this out. They never came. They took Diadem down, redesigned it, and it was worse. It died in less than a week and they never touched it again.

    And every iteration since (Anemos, Pagos) has been worse and worse.

    I still love the concept, but the devs have failed to make it fun. And when you've failed at that, you've just plain failed.

    Diadem was fun, and to an extent Eureka could be if relics weren't locked behind it, but I think the big problem is this idea of putting open world content in to instances. Sure it has the benefits of being cross world so there is plenty of players to participate, but what happens when the content becomes old and there is less reason to go in there. Eventually despite Eureka having the relics, players will decide (and some have already) to just skip it this expac altogether, and that's pretty unfortunate.

    I would probably find more excitement if relics were linked to treasure map duties (like the canals), least I could go in there and have some fun and get worthy items in the process, rather than just farming the same boring mobs and get rewarded with sparklers at the end...

    See, here is the thing for me, I think Eureka CAN be fun. A lot of the response that Anemos had was along the lines of "ehh it was boring but I had a lot of fun hanging out with people." Why not double down on the Social aspect of that instance model instead of on the grind part? make the light at cap something that everyone in the instance can work towards, chaining can be the most effective way but why not rotating light bonus across the entire instance for different mob groups or elemental types? That way players of all level ranges can benefit from a bonus given to the entire area not just 1 small space that people have to fight over like cats over scraps. I know SE didn't like the train because of various complaints one being AFK players just leeching. SO why not add more environmental hazards to the areas where NM spawn? Make it so that even if you can't fight effectively you cant just leave your character alone for hours at a time. Have HYPER powerful Roaming monsters, ones that can't be killed but instead need to be coordinated somewhere away from your party. Or use lures ala MHW to capture or lead them away? Making chains SO damn punishing was a misstep as well. You could have made it the most effective method to gain light but why make it SO DAMN hard to do it casually while enjoying the time talking with friends, there's room for both imo. I think the leveling process shouldn't be so new player unfriendly, If you go in solo you are basically just wasting time and there's no incentive for higher level players to help you with no ilvl sync system in place. Those really are just some thoughts off the top of my head but if Anemos inadvertently turned into a social experience and that was the ONE positive thing people had to say about that area as a whole, why go through soo much to nerf that experience into oblivion and create an area that a vast (not all I know) majority of the playerbase feels so negatively about?

    Diadem 2.0 actually did have a FATE train, people waiting for boss FATEs, and people just sitting around waiting for Emergency Missions. So if "sitting around waiting for something to happen" is a qualifier for something that Eureka has over Diadem, it actually doesn't. Diadem had it, too.

    I did try diadem 1.0... did hate this. After 1 week of diademe 2.0 everyone around me was saying "run awaaaay" so didnt even try ^^"

    Eureka is even more diadem that i thought...

    Delete Pagos.

    I had motivation to run Anemos because I was making guaranteed progression while leveling and post-leveling. Pagos entirely loses that sense of definite progress after Lv35 because light is RNG, when light has NEVER been an RNG aspect.

    I wasn't a fan of anemos or pagos, they both feel very solo-unfriendly. Going in to anemos the first time, I had reasonably high hopes. It's a very nice looking zone all around, but you soon find that all you do in this land of mystery and danger is kill random monsters. Genocide these creatures until you (slowly) level up enough to get a quest that amounts to walk to an area and teleport back. Be sure to kill them quickly so you don't lose that chain!

    It was painfully unfun and unreasonably time consuming. It wasn't until they added the challenge log that I can back and finished leveling and suffering through the train. I entered pagos to find another nice zone suffering from the same problem on steroids. Now the creatures are even more solo-unfriendly. I quit at level 21.

    I did a few of the old relics. While they weren't "fun" per se, it was nice that I could complete them at a reasonable pace while doing dailies. When I did anemos, it was ALL I could do. I usually have maybe 1-2 hours of playtime a day and it took all of it. It . bums me out to not complete the relic, I've always done the monk one hoping to get a neat weapon (never ever) but I simply can't bare the boredom (and wrist pain) of chaining trillions of monsters any more.

    I really like Eureka, and have been having a blast in both zones so far, especially in the first couple weeks when it releases where you have to discover mechanics and some NMs can easily lead to a wipe if people are not careful. The NM train is not great, but it is a non-issue in Pagos (for people riding the train in Pagos, good luck getting light that way). With a bit more refinement that seems to be coming in the future zone(s), I think the content will be amazing, they already have very solid foundations.

    As someone who has very little interest in savage, this content has been great, and judging by the constant full instances its success is undeniable. Don't take the threads in here and reddit as "proof" that people don't like Eureka - first there's only a tiny fraction of the player base using those, and second people are always more inclined to give negative feedback than positive (ever heard the term vocal minority?). People complained heavily about pretty much every relic step in the past, this is nothing different here, give it a month or 2 so people who are still outraged by it somehow move on We should judge Eureka success by activity in game, and so far it is still VERY active, even Anemos.

    Keep it up devs, many are looking forward to Pyros!

    Imo, it's the strengh of Eureka (+ the map).
    Trying to understand how work NM fate, Mutation/Adaptation, Light, Bunny fate, etc., it was pleasant while I was progressing in Eureka and in the relic steps.
