Well, might as well just jump in here:
The whole 'random substats' thing people get way to riled up about, yet again seems to be little more than the result of a unofficial shoddy translation of an already somewhat vague interview posted on reddit which people somehow have taken as gospel.

We wouldn't need unofficial translations if SE would be a global company and release translated transcripts. But they refuse to do this.

Perception is reality fella. They need to be in this thread actively dispelling the rumors if it's false. But guess what? The past has shown us that generally SE is pretty pigheaded about changing things once they've set their mind to it.
