    Lack of content..

I would love to see something like an 8 man dungeon where you start off in either Group 1 or Group 2 (2 Light parties). Where you have to progress into the dungeon on seperate sides, to unlock ways/paths for the other party to progress the dungeon and depending on what area the group unlocks for you, you will encounter different monsters with weaknesses against certain jobs (mini boss strong against mages because they have to move a lot..kind of thing), eventually to merge paths with the other group to clear the last boss.

On a side note, the rewards we get from this game feel completely irrelevant to a lot of the progress we have to make. We have people that raid and people that log in weekly to do errands...

I love this game and just want to see it always making a stride towards things we want to see and do. I find it harder nowadays to keep my identity compared to other warriors of light. We all feel so strong and important that It's like My Hero Academia* (anime based on heroes*) and I am just waiting for some big bad villain to destroy us all before I can have fun..

P.S I look forward to the new patch though! Square Enix please take more risks.

you'll love it till the other group you get is absolute trash and you have to wait to refill or abandon the dungeon to try again. Dungeons are casual content, they'll never be anything more than that.

...this made me think off T11 actually and how my static, with everyone in voice chat!, was sometimes unable to sort out the whole "4 people on each platform"-thing...

I'm not saying I wouldnt like more creative content and more puzzles and such in dungeons, but to be honest: I would prefer those to be content for 4 people not 8. Puzzles and the like just dont work to great in DF... we need more challenging content that can be done with less people, to avoid the need of coordinating the scheduldes of 8 people...

Traditional dungeons yes, but there's nothing saying they couldn't make something like this mainly for premade parties like raids and extremes as an extra side thing.

I wholeheartedly agree. There's a lot of content released for FFXIV, but the vast, vast majority falls under the heading of 'same stuff we had releasing 3-6 months ago, just higher iLevel'. It's also, for the most part, shallow: outside of the Relic grind and the higher-skill content, everything resembles an errand. Run an Expert Roulette to cap out tomestones; run a few Beast Tribe quests to get them knocked out for the day. I appreciate the presence of these short tasks for when I don't have much time to play, but they ideally need to be coupled with deeper content, too. The short, shallow sorts of quests on daily timers should introduce people to different branches of content, not be the content in and of itself.

I remember 10 instances in WoW being like your describing, though many guild's used them as a trial for potential raid members.

Or better yet, given how the que system works. That one side of the dungeon that has those mobs and mini bosses strong against magic? How much gil does anyone wanna bet the RNG of the que will dump two blackmages as the dps for that group?

Well, we just got a 4 man EX fight It's def within the realm of possibilities now.
I'd personally would be down for a 8 man dungeon or something a bit more
harder (not so much EX lvl, but maybe 24 man lvl of difficulty?)

The problem is, people tend to not like it when SE get's too "experimental".
And that's not even a BD5 (? I forget which BD FFXIV belongs to) issue- People really dont like when Square enix,
as a whole, tries out new stuff. Ever. Not since I joined the fandom in 2003 (and apparently predating even then).
I cant blame them for being cautious with new and unexplored territory.

I kinda hope they continue to experiment tho. Really like rathalos, and I'd like to have an actual reason to do
Dungeons. Because, I'll be honest, aside from doing the dungeon once for msq, I stopped doing them about a year ago
And just do pvp or 24 man for tomes, lol.

It just depends on who is wielding what.

Eight man dungeons are already possible in theory. Main Scenario roulette shows that and the Coil and Alexander raids show it can be done to a higher degree.

Given the low quality of far too many BLM's, it wouldn't make a difference.

That’d actually be kind of fun.
