Pagos light farming..let's compare notes

I never found a light method that was consistent and tolerable. Had intended to complete a third weapon before the patch but I quit because having an unlucky streak with little to no light gains feels like a waste of time and a bit sad. Wildly different results between people using the same methods also seems unfair.

I think even if luck is on your side, there is a point when fighting hundreds of enemy chains is no longer tolerable and it would be better if the light given by Fate NMs was increased so people can finish in a more relaxed way.

I preferred light in zodiac/anima with no RNG; you always receive light if you participate in content and it's the same amount for all players. The only 100% light we get in Pagos is from NM but it's too small amount (or mutation enemies, but getting a mutation to occur is not 100%).

I haven't discovered any light-boosting secrets to share but I think fighting morbols is not so bad relative to other methods and it has the bonus of spawning Cassie NM eventually if people are committed to it.

The optimal method for light grinding that I found is to do a combination chain of corpse flowers and the dragon in the crystal forge cave. You basically kill corpse flowers until you get to chain 4, 9, 14, 19, 24, and 29 then kill dragons every 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, and 30th chain. This method is just like regular dragon light farming, but it's much faster because the corpse flowers are easier to kill. You mainly will get big chunks of light when you kill the dragon. It's still RNG-based, but I would say it's about 3 crystals an hour. This is how I got my weapon after leveling to 35.

If you get an adapted dragon on chain 30, it will net you a gentle light if the game decides to give you light.

I'm curious what the best mob would be to try solo light farming on?

I heard an interesting one the other night, supposedly killing the Yarzons that span near the lower level bunny fate and using the bunny fate to synch down right before kill is a good way to do it solo or duo. I personally haven't tried this yet, but the guy who told it to me had 5 Anemos weapons and he wasn't even level 32 yet..

Question what is the best way to fill your green bar to get the frosted protean crystals for the relic?

I just got level 35 and only had 5 Frosted Protean Crystal done with the green bar, but someone said relics take 31 right? I have 461 Pagos Crystal so I am close to the number needed there.

Not really understanding what I am suppose to do now or how you fill the green bar fast. Takes many NMs for just 1 bar.

NMs aren't the best method for light gain. Chaining is.
