Welcome to the PvP section of this forum. May I guide you to the PvE section now -> http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/f...ral-DiscussionHmmm it seems that way, I think it's more based on players, gear and skills. People who complain about seem to misunderstand something -.- Sam has skills that make them a power house. Those who know how to take advantage and properly know their job have a better advantage than those who think they know the job. Sam has a lot of combinations that can be linked with other roles to make it more effective. As long as it's well geared and use CD and skills properly it's as good as MNK or DRG. Nin with a SAM make a great pair when in sync with their CD's. If anything most players think they know a job. Let's face it nobody likes to be told how to play a job, however those who can keep an open mind learn to play it better or realize that they have been missing on some steps in their rotation.
On that Note I've come across many SAM who really have no idea how their CD work or when to use them. They claim to be experts -.-/

Oh great. My mainjob is op. Now every time i win i'll just get "Because Samurai".
Nerf me pls.

That 3500 burst has a cast timer where as bhava is instant. I agree NIN needs aliddo buff but saying SAM is broken because of Midare shows how liddo you know of the class.i dont think i need to get "Gud" ive been diamond rank for every season pretty much on Ninja and i was top pvper back in Wow arena, Aion and TERA, i can just tell when classes sticks out being better then the rest. How is 3500 burst every 10 seconds fair to say Ninja with bhava 2500 potency 40 sec and assassinate on a fucking 1 min cd, the bind that makes the class stand out from other melees nerfed to oblivion being 2 seconds only also.
Spamming matchs and marking ppl to ignore doesnt necessarily make you a "top pvper" FYI.

um, well the top players will ALWAYS find and exploit the most effective job or combo of jobs, so it doesn't really matter. If you nerf sam, they all will switch to nin or something. That's why you never bother with esport level play for balancing; overwatch has tried and it's been a revolving door of buffs and nerfs to whatever heroes the pro players use at the moment.

Samurai was also only melee job in previous patch that not get any potency buff once they boost jobs max hp. I dont think that 500 extra potency for midare really make that big difference. Ninja just got 250 potency for raiton that they can use twice more often.
4.2 patch notes
