Housing Refund and Items Missing

Well I'm loath to actually mention it, but the only other explanation that readily springs to mind is one of your FC mates with housing permissions is lying to you and scooped up the items and gil when your back was turned. I don't know you or anyone else in your FC though, you could be IRL friends or even relatives, so I'm really in no position to make any accusations. I guess I'm just suggesting that you evaluate how much you trust everyone who had access.

Beyond that, I have no other plausible explanations beyond you got some sort of a bug. You could try filing a bug report here on the forums and contacting a GM in-game.

This. I saw OPs thread on reddit where he said:

I logged in at the 30 day mark to collect, but nothing was there

Despite what your FC members are telling you, the most likely explanation is someone who had housing permissions picked up the gil/items and knows it'd be impossible to trace them.

You said you were put back as FC head but exactly when did that happen?

* Players will have thirty-five days to redeem items from the resident caretaker before they are made irredeemable. Items belonging to a free company estate can only be retrieved by members with the authorization to purchase or relinquish land. Items belonging to a private estate can only be retrieved by the owner.

If your rank at the time of demolition didn't allow you to purchase or relinquish land, then you wouldn't be able to reclaim the items. The game isn't going to suddenly add you to the list of members authorized to reclaim after the fact.

Better talk to whomever was the FC leader prior to you. Chances are good that someone else with the permissions reclaimed the items first. Support might be able to verify if someone else did reclaim the items but it's unlikely they'll tell you which player did it.

Issue resolved.

I was unable to collect because i was away from the game too long and the FC didnt have an active leader. Once someone logged in, they became the leader and i was dropped down to a rank that did not have housing privileges. And once i came back, even though i was given FC master again, i still couldn't collect on it, and it had to be someone who had those privileges at the time of Demo.

Was afraid of that. Hope someone in your FC with the right privileges at the time of demo is able to collect all the items and gil for your FC.
