calling retainer to battlecraft problem

Frequency: happens every time I attempt to bring my retainer too battlecraft ward

Character Name: Bracan Ermmart

Race: Roegadn

World: Cornelia

Class/Level: Leatherworker - 31

Area and Coordinates: Battlecraft ward 1-2

Party or Solo: Solo

NPC Name: Kotrbracan

Monster Name: N/A

In-Game Time: unknown

Steps:
1. I tried to bring my retainer from another ward i think middle tailors to battle craft

2. once I brought up my menu for summon retainer and choose Kotrbracan and my client would not load my retainer and leave me only able to operate my camera and not able to move my character as if it was still loading my retainer.

3. this forces me to force close FFXIV which i know is not advisable but is my only option.

I have hda this occur to me before. I think it means the ward is full, but instead of cancelling the summon of the retainer and giving you the message the game fritzes. Try moving to another ward and summoning it, if you can find one with space.
