I'm leveling my monk through HW, and the sudden new additions/changes on a monk's chakra has me confused.

In ARR we achieve opening the seventh chakra, and we only know it as just chakra. In HW, though, we learn that there is 14 chakra, in light and shadow. We learn pretty early the WoL and Widargelt have chakra of light. Later in the story, though, we're told in the level 56 questline that we're close to opening all chakra... We're only missing one more of shadow. Widargelt also called us, once again, disciples of light.

This has me a bit confused, so here's a list of my questions.

-If the WoL is a disciple of light chakra, why are we unlocking shadow chakra?

-At the same time, if you fight against a disciple of one aspect of chakra, you open the opposite aspect. Widargelt is light, so why wasn't the WoL shadow aspected by fighting him in the ARR ending quest?

-If the 14 chakra are 7 of light, and 7 of shadow... What does that make the chakra we were unlocking during ARR? We were only ever told it was just plain chakra. Are there 21 chakra by this logic? 7 of chakra, and the other 14 are light/shadow?
