Dravanian Hinterlands aether quest help!

Hi everyone - I am Lvl 62 and completed the HW main story. I have all the aethers unlocked in the Dravanian Hinterlands bar one. I read online that I can obtain it by completing the side quest Louder than Words from Taplix. But he wont offer me that quest! Any reason why? I’m going crazy!

Since the only prerequiste this quest is the completion of the mainstoryquest "A Great New Nation", there shouldnt be any reason why hes not offering you that quest.

Few things I'd check:

1) Have you really completed the HW-Story, including "A Great New Nation"?
2) Are you looking for the questgiver in the right spot? (Hinterlands at X: 22, Y: 18.8)
3) Is it really that aether current that you're missing? Check if you've completed the quest (and any other that gives you aether currents)! Maybe you've accepted it at somepoint, but havent turned it in yet/didnt finish it?

If you're absolutly certain that you've not accepted/done the quest, but should have it unlocked, I'd try filing a bug-report, so that it can be looked into.
Afaik there shouldnt be any reason for the NPC not to give you the quest, once you've finished "A Great New Nation".

I have indeed finished the quest A Great New Nation but when I look for it in my completed quests I can’t find it... could that be the bug?

If you've also turned the quest in, yes.
Do you have the following main-quest "Golems Begone" in your journal and checked as completed?

And how about the other 3 quests that are unlocked after completing "A Great New Nation" - namely "Stop Bugging me", "Community Service" and "Feltsmox needs Bait"? Do any of those show up for you?

I have Golems Be Gone and Feltsmox Needs Bait... but not the other ones! Any reason why that would be?

Make sure the quest you're looking to unlock isn't already in your journal. I've made this mistake more than once when I forget I checked it off so it wouldn't show up in my duty list.

That's all I can think of. It shouldn't be a bug though.

Only have 6 current quests in my journal, none of them this one. I’m really confused. I have filed a bug report and hope to hear back soon - I really can’t think of anything else...

So I filed two bug reports and haven’t heard back. I have checked out each single quest in the Hinterlands and still nothing. What else could I do? I can’t even proceed with the Alexander raid as it’s located in a location I can only reach by flying now.

I cant seem to find the bug reports you've filed - did you do that ingame or here on the forums?

Are you also 100% certain that its this quest you're missing and that you havent completed it yet (did you check your journal for completed quests)?
Is any of these quests available to you:
Ebb and Aetherflow
Taking Stock
Forbidden Knowledge
Saro Roggo's Common Life
?
Those would be the other 4 giving your currents - I dont want to imply that you didnt checked thourghly, but sometimes a little thing just escapes you!

While waiting for the reply to your bug report, you can ask around for someone to fly you to the quest location on a 2-seat mount. It won't fix your issue but at least you can progress while you wait to hear back.
