You have done a good job of describing the game as it currently is.
Shame you don't realise its all going away.

I'm not going to bother quoting people, but;
The point was not to just merely say "I HATE EVERYTHING". It was to define what I did not like, why it doesn't work, and what I personally find wrong with it. I apologize for the 2 things I said in that whole post that so many of you are getting riled up over (the "gay", and "what idiot thought of this"). But, unfortunetly it's a common slang that even though i'm not refering to a person or directly trying to flame someone, I'd hate to break it to you but this is the internet and how people talk, sometimes when i'm typing what's on my mind in, mindless order, slang slips out when I'm not thinking professionally. Honestly get over it.
But anyways, as I said. The "It's changing in 2.0 thing" is all good. But I've already read everything, and stand by my original statements and complaints. Yes it's changing, but in nowhere does it state specific design qualitys, just promises without definition. Part of what makes games great is the developers having things to consider when developing. You think if every person just said "It sucks" and left it at that, they'll just automatically create the best possible solution in 2.0?
I find it funny that most people will say they enjoy the game the way it is and tell people to leave when they voice concerns, yet can't wait for the upcoming patch they're so quick to give to people as an answer.
So which is it? Are you blinded fanboys that will take what you can get or paying customers that request only the top quality for ungoing subscriptions? MMO's start with the voice of the customers, and they're a key aspect in making the game grow and florish. If you are so quick to accept everything, you'll get the product you desire; a game in its current state that will never attract new players and continue to sit under 100K subscriptions worldwide until they've lost so much money that they'll likely never consider another MMO.
If you really thought this thread was an unconstructive complaint without definition then you are part of the problem, not the solution.
No offense to anyone specifically as obviously people try here try to directly associate indirect quotes and comments with flaming and e-policing mentality.
And as an EDIT: Just to add, a lot of what I specified, could be fixed pretty easily. Mainly the server>client base UI and menus.
Another EDIT: I will agree TERA is so far a pretty bad MMO in general, it had potential but they opted to make it more like an FPS game then a dynamic one. But aside from that, all MMO's have great qualities and to just write them off as bad because they're not XIV (one of the lowest rated in the industry) just reeks of bias. I'm no anti-XIV, I enjoy it for the most part but I'm completely shocked by the hostile fanboyism in this forum. I'm suprised the game has been changed at all with a lot of this mentality.

Don't be rude by saying go play something else
OMG THE CUTENESS
Keep in mind that 2.0 is a continual process that begins with the new world and will add content throughout the months.

If you have an opinion in favor of the game: White Knight.
If you have an opinion against the game: Troll.
If you have a complaint but describe it to the best of your ability in as full of detail as you can: This thread's responses.
If you have any sort of rational thought what-so-ever: Don't, it's wasted here.
I like how you worded yourself, in spite of the fact that I did not read it all. I did skim~Lol.
Unfortunately and even as you pointed out in regards to your slang: This is the internet, people talk like you do. They also act like some of these posters do.
I'm not innocent either though xD
You start by apologising, and then you defend your behaviour and end it with insulting the people you're apologising to. Yeah, that's not really apologising.I apologize for the 2 things I said in that whole post that so many of you are getting riled up over (the "gay", and "what idiot thought of this"). I acknowledge that most people don't mean any offense when they say that something is "gay". That doesn't make it right by any means, though. People really should be more considerate and responsible about how they're wording themselves. Especially when they're typing something, since you have the luxury of being able to read over what you've written and remove any "slip-ups" you might have made.
Not to mention that if the point is to reach out to people with your opinions (I assume that's the point?), then you could benifit from being a bit more humble.
>_>;
Focusing on one's worded mistakes even though his concerns and points are valid, even if already answered by devs, is a little childish.
You don't like the word.
This thread isn't about the word.
Focus on the thread.
If you can't do that: Leave the thread.
It's super simple.

Yeah, I think a lot of people assume that everything will be ready at 2.0 release, when in reality "it will be added in 2.0" means "it will be added sometime in the future", which could be anytime really.
