Why does Minimum iL have Echo enabled?

Shouldn't that be something that's disabled when doing a Minimum iL run? I mean otherwise what's the point, right?

It's a bit of an annoyance having to remove the buff every time, then having people forget to do it... There should just be an option to disable it for the whole duty I think.

While I will never do minimum iLVL until there is actually a reward to make it worth my time. I completely agree that echo boost should be disabled for this mode.

I've never done a minimum IL run either, but yeah, this seems surprising.

Echo boost can be clicked off, but cannot be clicked on. Even folks looking for the challenge of a minimum ilvl run might want to practice with the echo on, first.

That's true, but it still seems silly that it wouldn't at least be an option before selecting a duty.
In raids its not too bad since you can click it off and it stays off, but for primals it reapplies every time you wipe which is annoying.

To be fair, minimum ilvl will still not replicate the original fight. Most people didn't go in at minimum ilvl, and jobs have changed so much that the fights go differently than when they first released.
