where do i go from here?

ive been playing ~4 days now, upto 15 PGL, fishing, and smithing in limsa lominsa. i dont really see anyone to party with or dunno if im leveling slowly... what should i be doing, where should i be going? where is the main town, where can i get some new equipment? i just feel a bit lost, and dont know what im really doing. any point in the right direction would be great.

but seriously-

first, relocate to ul'dah. you should be able to take the airship. that will give you access to party shouts as well as market wards full of retainers carrying gear you may need- not to mention increasing your chances of finding a helpful linkshell

I did not get to level a class in these days of the EXP chain, but I've heard that Shposhae just east of LL is a decent place for experience until around 20. Someone would have to correct me if that is wrong.

Shposhae is pretty decent for solo and low man groups, yeah. but staying in LL, imo, just prolongs the suffering. better to relocate to ul'dah first and then if a party wants to go to shposhae, someone can teleport.

Go To Uldal and use Shout and Recruit from party function
/sh LXX-YY EXP Party , Do you need it . Party Search 1/8 <<< something like that

prolly solo to L15, below is a list of hot spot for leveling
Form a party of 8 to grind Cactuar around Horizon to L25 (3 groups of Cactuar with different Level range)
Next, Grind Mite around Nophica Well to L35 , there is also 3 groups of mite there
Next, Raptor around Iron Lake to L45 <<< but dunno why player still fond of Raptor
Next, Natalan Stronghold near Camp Dragonhead.
