Can I EB Suzaku?
Can I EB Suzaku?
Omega has fought Midgardsormr before. In fact, Midgardsormr is currently the only thing to actually damage Omega, if I recall correctly. So Omega knows how strong Grandad Wyrm was in his Prime. It doesn't seem far-fetched that it could simply be an "imaginary" version of Middy that Omega incarnated for the purpose of our "test". Didn't Middy also prevent Omega from nuking us earlier in the story line? From that, perhaps Omega was able to catch a glimpse of Middy's power and was able to use that to create the battle. It's hard to imagine we'd be fighting the real Middy, though I suppose there is also some rationale for Omega to think along the lines of "this being might be as strong as me so I'll make you take him down first" (to get him out of the way so he can't interrupt real fight against Omega)
IDK. I'm pretty psyched. More than I thought I would be!
Omega likely made Midgardsormr a contender because this will most likely affect our characters in some shape or form (while it may just be data, we are technically going to kill a version of a dragon who has been with us since 2.5 and has saved us from being deleted).
I kinda wonder how Alphascape will end. I remember the Raid mentioning Omega only made villains because it didn't understand the source of a hero's power. Maybe Alpha was made to get that data by becoming the Warrior of Light's friend. I'm half-expecting him to die or become the O12 boss against his will.
I expect an Alpha Duty Action, at least.
Poor Tellah. He didn't get the memo that death was cheap.

Looks like a big focus on the Garlean characters ... love how the ending was done. Hnnnnnngh .. must finish SB MSQ!

Heck, he even talks to Middy about that earlier in Sigmascape. It doesn't seem far-fetched that it could simply be an "imaginary" version of Middy that Omega incarnated for the purpose of our "test". Well, we have had a Turtle, Tiger, and now a firebird Auspice, which means the final auspice will most likely be the Azure dragon. I think it's pretty neat that they're following the Four Symbols theme![]()

Seiryu is most definitely a dragon. They were also mentioned in the DRG questline for Stormblood as a well-known dragon from the East.
Fair enough, (I don't play Drg) but of course an Azure Dragoon would be involved with the Azure Dragon :P
But by going with this theme, there could also be a yellow dragon.

I just finally got caught up all the way to 4.3 MSQ. I just thought about something that I wanted to share. During that surprise battle at the end of 4.3, you have the buff called 'Roleplaying'. Seriously. It's description sums up as going through an experience as another character. For the sake of spoilers, what if in 4.4, the devs start having us do some instances as members of this party? Maybe Shadowhunter himself? I don't believe for a moment that this buff was made solely for this one instance. Perhaps something with Y'shtola as well?
Yes, I agree and hope this can be a more regular occurrence in the future. It gives us more immersion and empathy with the NPC character while also making us feel like we are in control of our our decisions.I just finally got caught up all the way to 4.3 MSQ.
