Can I beat up an NPC in the story eventually?

I did the lvl 25 Arcanist class quest last night and wanted to punch the arc guild leader so hard. Lurking around on rooftops, won't even face you when talking to you. Talks big on "muh strategy" and "muh math", is just a lame nerd who tries too hard to be an anime protag.

A genius nerd though - Thubyrgeim mentions that they're tolerant of his long absences and eccentricities because he keeps them updated on his theories on advanced arcanima. (paraphrased from memory, but my alt character only joined the guild yesterday.)

But yes, annoying as heck. Don't make me dance in public! D:

Yes please! If they add this feature I do gladly redo the entire MSQ just to punch Ungust all day long. Oh, I also want to give the PvP introduces a couple of knuckle sandwiches for being such a pottymouth and just a general mean person.

Asahi has possibly the most punchable face in the game. And that was before we saw his true colors. At least we get to beat up the shadow of him in the Tsukuyomi fight.
