    Loading screen time issues since the PS4 patch

    I am now experiencing double the load times into instances. Why?

    I'm only speculating here, so take everything with a grain of salt. I do know, however, that load times are highly dependent on hard drive access speed. Does your PS4 have an HDD or SSD (its original hard drive would be HDD)?

    If it's running on an HDD, maybe your drive got fragmented during the patch load, making the game take longer to collect all the pieces it needs. I've never done it before, but apparently you can defrag a PS4 by starting it in safe mode and selecting "Rebuild Database". It might be worth a try.
