Well that's interesting. Previously they said the app would only allow you to purchase an additional retainer on the Mog Station (above the previous max limit). So in order to get a new retainer you would need to spend $5 per month on the app and another $2 on the retainer.

If this new text is accurate, and you actually do get a retainer directly with your premium app, then it's slightly more palatable. Though you're really still just spending $3 on extra saddlebag space.

Pretty sure that was just a mistranslation, as are a lot of things people get riled up over.

Its an additional favored location, not free.

It comes with the free version.

There’s a free emote coming out in 4.4 for the app users. Not too sure if that applies only to premium users though. An emote which you check thru your phone or whatever it will be called in-game which is considered lore breaking to some players, seeing that phones are not introduced in game.

It's a tomestone rather than a phone. A bit tacky, perhaps, though hardly lore breaking - we've seen devices with screens in both the remnants of Allagan buildings as well as within Garlean fortifications.

I assume the emote is for everyone. I don't think they'd make an emote you only have when you're subscribed to the premium app, that would be pretty low.

If they wanted it in the lore they could just say it's the allagan equivalent of a linkshell or something.

As it's evident the Premium app has no real use to me, the GUI is pretty bad and it lags badly when doing any operations, everything works much faster in game!...


I would pay for Premium app if it had all the features mentioned in post #4!...
