Today, like many other days, I encountered someone with whom I had a disagreement with. Normally I let incidents slip but I did not this time. I think it's important for people to talk even if they don't see eye to eye but getting insulted is something I don't find okay. (Homophobic stuff in nature.)

I thought I'd drop a report so something, somewhere would remain in the file of that person and if anyone else ever had a problem with them again, there would be a baseline. I was very surprised to be approached by a GM within the following minutes.

After a clear, short and supportive discussion, I could tell my side of the story and that alone made me feel really good. My goal isn't to get the person who did something I feel was wrong banned, but to make so if they ever disagree with someone else in the future, insults aren't thrown around. I'm aware that the consequences are up to the team, but I couldn't let another bitter dungeon tale go untold.

Thanks Dahnusore for your swift and gentle help. It feels awesome to know someone's there to hear you out if there's something bad going on.
