Problem with Client Sound and Install Size after PS4 Update.

I have already posted this in two other Topics, but I wanted to give specific visibility to these issues.

PS4 Warrior of Light here.

1) I can confirm that Audio at the Client (Prelude) is not there anymore.

2) Install Size problem. You said the Install Size would be roughly 34 GB after the patch.
I have completed all the steps. Downloaded Update last week before it was taken away, downloaded it again this time (PSN version 7.06), installed it, and:

Game went from 67.25 GB to 56.21 GB.

Please fix both of these issues.
Client without Prelude =Game feeling dead.
I want my extra 22 GB to be freed. Please, do NOT make me delete the game and re-download it for the 4th time this year.

I wanted to also add that I have already logged into the game, did some Mini Cactpot, played some Triple Triad, logged out, and the Install Size is still 56.21 GB.


Thanks in advance for your hard work, and please respond to us with how you plan on fixing these issues (deleting is not an option again, or else I would need to ask a refund because Data Caps)

We were able to replicate the lack of audio on the launcher itself and are currently looking into that.

As for the install size, I'd like you to verify something. Can you check the storage option in the Settings menu of the PS4 and find Final Fantasy XIV. Then click the Options button on the FFXIV icon on the Home Screen and select 'Information.' Both of these should give you the install size, is there any discrepancy between them, or are they both exactly 56.21 GB?

Next, can you go back to the 'Information' screen (by clicking the Options button on the Icon from the Home Screen) and click 'View' next to 'Installed Add-ons.' What do you see here? Do you see any duplicates?

I followed all the steps, and it shows exactly 56.21 GB in both the Settings/Storage area, and the Information area by pressing Options while highliting the icon of FFXIV in my Home Screen.

Now, when I select "View" I get the entirety of FFXV's (yes 15's) DLC.
It shows 31 Pieces of DLC. 30 are from FFXV, and the last is the "Heavensward Pre-Order Theme".

Now, if I press "Down" while highlighting the FFXIV icon on my Home Screen, and go all the way down to the PlayStation Store option, it shows that I "own" 31 pieces of DLC for FFXIV. The 30 FFXV DLC + Heavensward Expansion (and not Heavensward Preorder theme as it shows in the "View" Screen).

The exact same stuff it shows in my FFXV icon by the way. Either by "View" option, or "Playstation Store" option.
Even down to the PSN Themes and Avatars (it shows my Zenos preorder Avatar on FFXV page too, as well as my 3 FFXIV PSN Themes).

Hope I wasn't too confusing.
I will clarify in more detail anything that wasn't properly explained (my main Language is Greek, so sorry for the confusion).

Thanks again for the investigation (that launcher theme is really important to me apparently, hahaha).

Thank you for confirming my suspicions, I've seen this earlier today but wasn't sure if it was the same issue.

Can you post a few screenshots of FFXV (15) being mis-categorized? Also add some screenshots of your total storage and free space (that you see in the 'Storage' option of 'Settings') Additionally, does this double the amount of space it takes up? You may have to do some math to see if the numbers add up or if the amount of free space you have is correct and the DLC is just counted multiple times.

FFXV (15) DLC should be around 90 GB if you have everything, is this the case?

Now, this is what FINAL FANTASY XV shows under its Icon on the Dashboard:




As you can see, it even shows FFXIV's Avatar from Stormblood Pre-Order and my FFXIV Themes.


The "My Add-ons" Tab shows exactly the same stuff as the "'VIEW" Tab from before, except the Heavensward Pre-order Theme straight up changes to:





Again, FFXIV's "My Add-ons" lists the exact same things as FFXV's.

I don't have a problem with the way they display the DLC/Themes/Avatars from both FFXIV and FFXV in the pages of both games.
It has been like that since FFXV was released.

But I would really like to have that extra 22 GB that the last patch was supposed to free up.
