    A guy in reddit said that he browsed other data centers then logged out and back in and tried chaos and it worked. I did the same thing and it worked for me. If anyone else wants to try this it may be a fix. Just brows other data centers and login for a while then close the game and log back in and try chaos.

    I didn't have any issues with this...

    Went to sleep last night watching Netflix, when I woke up the system was in Rest Mode due to inactivity (which happens every night when I pass out with it on Netflix). FFXIV files were successfully installed sometime before it went into rest mode I suppose, because it all worked just fine when I launched the application this morning.

    HMM weird. Welp mine is working now so i have no reason to complain. Although i do wish they would try to be more on top of these things. Regardless i am still happy they are paying attention to things the ps4 community want too. I was getting sick of the in client patcher and its errors and reinstall error more specifically. So this is a big plus for me. Hopefully the client also updating every patch also went byebye as my net is very slow and it takes forever just to do the update to the client itself.

    Very strange.

    Perhaps there's some kind of file that has to be sent from the data centre to your PS4 when you first connect after the update? And that's not working on Chaos but once you've got it off another data centre, you don't need to do it again?

    (I don't actually know how any of this works.)

    GUYS I FIGURED IT OUT!!
    If you change your Data server, (you'll see its working for the others as you can create and play a character), then change it back to the europe server, it should log you in no problem!!

    I re downloaded the whole game and the patches via the PS4 and it now works for me, seems fully reinstalling the game might be he safe way to get it to work

    It should be up and working again now.
    My guess would be, that Sony was slacking on its European servers as usual.
