    The patches have been downloaded in the background and were installed today. The issue is it says we need to update to the latest version when we try to log into our characters, yet we have the latest version apparently downloaded/installed.

    Exactly. And while SE did leave us a guide it was a page long and complicated as all hell, They couldn't simply say something like "please re-install the game as well as do the patch" (if that's what we needed to do i don't even know because of their complicated page long way of guiding us through it which ends up being counter-productive in the first place.)

    I have confirmed it is just with the chaos data-center, because i just tried aether and i got in just fine.........which sucks since my main is on chaos.
