    ...What the issue was with the update etc.
    But if the serverwas down it shouldn't have told us it was up.

    server wasnt down, could log into my char just fine on pc
    nobody noticed it started working at the scheduled time maintenance was supposed to end

    Yeah, same issue. The log in screen is also eerily silent. Has Square posted any updates yet regarding this issue? Have they been made aware of this?
    Also as far as I'm aware, this is only affecting PS4 players on the Europe server.

    I noticed...

    ...about the time.
    But if the issue was just ps4 players on chaos and the servers were up and fine then what exactly was the issue?
    Also for those with the issue why would they have been lead to believe sorting things out was something to be done there end?
    Like i said I think it's better left unanswered for me.
    I'd just make Jackie Chan style faces.

    GUYS I FIGURED IT OUT!!
    If you change your Data server, (you'll see its working for the others as you can create and play a character), then change it back to the europe server, it should log you in no problem!!
    I just did this and I'm in game as normal!
    Pass this on to save everyone affected!

    didnt work for me, but about an hour before your post server came properly live
