    Ceremonial Issue

    Before any pelting occurs about this, this issue appears to be very secluded. There are some posts with no replies and solutions, and posting this in the bug section does nothing to help. Game masters have also advice to post in the forums, so I seriously have no idea where to put this.

    To the issue at matter: a friend of mine wants to transfer from Exodus to Mateus. Problem is, he is stuck with the ceremonial quest and is unable to abandon the quest as it prompts to have a promise wristlet. The problem is, he DOES have the wristlet, even with it on or equipped, laying in inventory, or anywhere else. What else can he do at this point? He's submitted a ticket already, but any help would be appreciated.

    Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    As this is not a technical issue, my assistance may be a bit limited. However, to abandon the quest, you must speak to the Sanctum Acolyte and hand over the wristlet. What exactly happens at this point? Can he not find it when he is trying to hand it over, or does the NPC not accept it? Once the item is handed over, they shouldn't have issues doing a world transfer.

    According to him, the NPC will not accept the wristlet. The NPC thinks it is missing from his inventory, but he has it in there. He tried to equip it, unequip it, leave it in the armour chest, leave it in his inventory as it probably should be, but none of these seem to succeed for him.
