Personally I'd love it if they deleted the current Lords of Verminion and then remade it to work more like Final Fantasy Tactics.
Not only would it be more fun and simple to understand, it'd actually be related to another part of the series instead of being discount Starcraft. Plus it'd actually work with a controller.

Don't even suggest it! Don't make the devs think they need to spend even more resources on LoV. While it does suck, look at how the diadem rework turned out. We don't need any more resources spent on it, just let it die so they can focus on other, better content.

Sad truth is, they actually spend ressources on LoV every time we get a new minion - and we are getting new minions often.

This means LoV is a good candidate for the top spot of the worst content ever. But it's just too ignorable to be the worst thing ever.

    So... Eureka it is.

That level grind inside with the exp penalty when you try to help your lower leveled friends is just a horrible, horrible design! And that's just the tip of the iceberg...

Notable other stuff: Forced cutscenes, that greed only nonsense, waiting for specific fates for hours to finish relic / beast tribe / daylie hunt, Gordias, degrading the relic to a glamour weapon (wich doesn't even glow in every 2nd step).

I haven't touched Eureka yet, but from what I hear, it incorporates FFXI's camp 'n grind exp method of progressing including exp penalty for dying. It sounds to me like a pinnacle example of how this antiquated system just will not work in this game. This might work for nostalgic purposes, but what of those who weren't there? SE reminds me of someone who makes a basket from half court blindfolded, but can't make a free throw to save their life.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if 5.0 introduced a subjob system. The thunderous claps of palms on foreheads would echo for days. But SO many players are asking for it as they did for what I perceive is Eureka. "Bring more FFXI concepts into this game. FFXI did so many things right!" Yeah... at the time. It's 2018 now.

It becomes more and more difficult for me to fathom the decisions this company makes while still delivering ridiculously gorgeous story, music, and scenery. It's almost as if a pretentious artist/musician/story teller with no idea whatsoever how important cooperate decisions work is the one calling the shots. I think when players are asking for something new, giving them something old is probably not the best choice.
