    Mannequins in 4.4!

They're finally here as per the info from the 14 hour stream (url goes to housing portion).

Currently Miqo'te only (boo!) for the time being, but others will be available later. Which race do you want a mannequin model to be made for next?

Mannequins can be purchased from the following npcs for 10,000 gil each:

Housing merchant in the Mist (X:10.8 Y:11.5)
Housing merchant in the Lavender Beds (X:11.8 Y:8.4)
Housing merchant in the Goblet (X:11.4 Y:9.4)
Housing merchant in Shirogane (X:10.0 Y:11.8)
    Apartment merchants in apartment lobbies
    Estate maidservants and manservants

When placing the npc (floor only )you will be required to choose a retainer (even if you're just using it for display purposes) to connect it to. After placing the mannequin and exiting the housing menu, you'll be able to interact with it and pull up the mannequin menu.

    Mannequin menu options:

You cannot choose to both display (show only, can use soulbound & gc gear) and sell (sellable non-bound gear) outfit items. As you can see above some of the options are greyed out as I snagged the menu shot after testing the sell feature. To enable those features again you'll have to completely clear out what the mannequin has on.

    Selling:

Clicking an empty slot will allow you to choose items from in your own inventory or your retainers inventory to sell and set the price. To change the price you will have to select the item on the mannequin, remove it and then re apply the item to set the price again. Choosing to sell a set will supposedly require the buyer to access the mannequin and they will have the option to send the selling character a tell when right clicking the set item on the market board. Note that set only items will not be displayed in listings if a user has "Hide Sets for Sale" enabled in their advanced search options (which it is by default at the moment).

    Displaying:
Same as selling, however nothing will be put up for sale and you can use soulbound gear including items that require grand company standing. Note that glamoured gear will not be listed in your display choices.

At this time you cannot change the hairstyle/color of the mannequin.

Check out the housing section of the patch notes for more info/restrictions: Here

QoL I'd like to see from testing:
    - Changing race & gender or class shouldn't exit the user out of the mannequin options menu.
    - Changing prices should be an option without having to remove/re-add the gear.
    - Hairstyle, hair color and mannequin color should be a menu option.
    - Would like to be able to have a mix of display & for sale items for ensembles that may make use of grand company gear or a quest reward.
    - Make them tabletop flagged (or finally just give us advanced placement options that forego those flags).
    - "Hide Sets for Sale" option shouldn't be hidden away where it is if it's enabled by default.
    - Clicking on a 'set item' listing shouldn't provide an error message, but instead a prompt notifying the user that it is part of a set and ask if they would like to teleport to the mannequin estate, possibly leave the /tell option for when guest access is disabled? There's so many times in game that communication is cut off due to instancing, I feel /tells were a poor choice.
    - Remove the limit based on house size and just make a solid limit if a limit is needed at all. House size often isn't a choice and even then someone may have a love for making/display outfits without wanting to have to deal with expanse of a mansion.
