    DirectX Error 11000002

I've been getting this error every time I try to log into a character today. I wasn't having the problem yesterday, and I haven't updated my game or drivers since then. I'm also not having this problem with any other game on my system. How do I fix this?

    My specs:

    Processor: Intel i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30 GHz
    RAM: 16 GB
Graphics card: Nvidia GEForce 1050 GTX
    DirectX version: 11

Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Does this happen immediately after log in? Or is it after you select a character? Does it only occur with one character?

Does this same error occur while using DirectX 9 mode (you can turn off DirectX 11 mode from the 'Config' option on the launcher)?

Make sure that your graphics card drivers are up to date and that you don't have any unnecessary programs or overlays (Geforce Experience, Discord Overlay, etc.) running.

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!

Posted this to Gabrium as well, but have you tried removing your settings files from your PC? I was plagued by this issue about this time last year, and this served to be the ultimate solution for me.

Be sure to back the files up so that you can restore them one by one at a later date.

    Settings files are located at:
    ...\Documents\My Games\Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn\FFXIV_CHRXXXXXXXXXXXX

You end up losing macros and other files, but can slowly restore them one by one to see where the problem may have been.
