Triple Triad - why do I lose every single match??!

I understand the rules, can do simple math (never fail math blaster's test) and know how to play and have most of the cards. full 3 and 5 star deck. Never ever win. Does anyone have any insight as to why it's apparently rigged or what in bloody thal's balls name I'm missing?

Are we talking against NPCs or other people?

If its NPCs: You might want to check and adjust the deck you're using to better match the cards they're holding.

I win against NPCs at least 70% of the time. But somehow other players seem to have a natural advantage only vs me and no one else. I cant win if its another player I'm up against yet I know the rules and how to use them. theres zero reason why I'm losing this much yet its happening. I want to scream.

What is your deck, out of curiosity?

When I tried doing tournaments and kept losing, I got frustrated and went to collect more cards. Replacing Byakko and Genbu really helped my deck a lot.

I don't know how I'd post it here aside from screenshotting in game but I have several different ones and lose on all of them.

You could just name the cards. Screenshots are fine, too, though.

Players also can think out their strats better than NPC's that tend to follow at least some kind of pattern. I get plenty of games when I rematch NPC's for cards where they'll do the exact same thing if I play the exact same way. Though sometimes they do mix it up, they seem to follow a pattern.

Players though are different. Since they aren't coded for patterns. That might be why it's getting ahead of you. You might just be too use to how NPC's play.

Why don't you try a defensive deck set-up designed to guard the corners. That's always been a reliable setup

You should try to get cards that have two "8"s, it'll almost always trump the 3 star cards that are 7,8 instead.

That's what I use, yeah. Though, it's annoying when you see someone else using the same deck in a tournament!
