Shinryu normal does not need to be nerfed, people just need to learn how to play the game. Back when the servers were in Canada I played with 170ms and up, 200ms and over in that range is still playable for me (even if it makes certain dps classes a pain). I don't get what's so hard about certain mechanics for some people.

Tidal wave right at the start? Well most people would die to it the first time but it only ever happens once and it's ALWAYS at the start. Stand by it.
Judgement Bolt? Don't stand in puddles.
    Hellfire? Stand in the puddles.
Meteors? Stand away from the pulses on the ground and in the case of every corner having one you stand inbetween 2.
Chains? Old mechanic from vault. Start near each other then run away from each other to break chains.
Permafrost you do not move or you will slide off. This mechanic comes from Shiva's standard difficulty back as far as ARR.
Aerial Blast? Just make sure that you don't get blown off and move closer to center.

In fact any time you see a message about his aether building up in the second half you get out of the center. Moments later he does a large aoe targeted at only the middle. Just move.

Few of his mechanics are even unique to this boss. On my second clear (both on healer and the second time was roulette) back in early 4.0 I had to healer LB3 TWICE in one run to save it and we still cleared. If Shinryu is too difficult for some people then put up a party finder advertising that you're new (bonus tomes, WT retry point etc). A lot people can and will assist.

I did all of the heavensward primals on extreme. Go ahead and do those synced (and around the same item level in their respective patches) and then come back to me about Shinryu.
