Design contest - change garden?

Does anybody know if gardens count in the "do not change your house" period while we wait for the design contest to be judged? My gut feeling is no, since we're being judged on the inside, but I'd hate to make a mistake and disqualify because I needed to grow some shards.

I don't think utilizing your gardens outside would disqualify you. If that were the case, I guess a lot of homeowners would be disqualified.

If it's not included in a submitted screenshot, they would have no way of knowing something was changed.

I think the main purpose for not altering the inside was to ensure people weren't just submitting screenshots they found online as their own. As Jojoya said, the gardens were excluded from the contest so you should be fine changing things around.
