    Email Support

    The GM's over email support currently is a waste of time. I am experiencing an issue where I can not receive waist items in game. Not only we're they unhelpful, they were impersonal making the entire interaction extremely frustrating. I have resubmitted the ticket to in-game GMs as instructed in hopes they can help with it. Though, how long it is going to take to hear back is unknown.

    Quick update: Submitted the ticket to the in-game support and waited over an hour and a half with no response from a GM. I don't have time to wait around anymore for these people to respond. I have now lost, gear, tomestones and now hours of time dealing with terrible support. Thanks Square.

    What do you mean you cannot receive waist items? Maybe we can help you if you let us know what issue you are having.

    Generally you won't get much response at all for email enquiries from Square outside of working hours (which is Mon to Fri, so not weekends). Not sure about GM responses though, they might be quicker but often easier to ask other people in the forums.

    Is your belt section of the armoury chest full or something?

    What do you mean you cannot receive waist items?
    Is your belt section of the armoury chest full or something?
    So the issue is that when I loot or buy any belt item, the game will say that I have purchaced/recieved whatever the item. But when checking my inventory there is nothing there. My armory chest has plenty or room in it and my general inventory barely has anything. I won a need roll for the striking belt from Ala Mhigo and never recieved the item, then later bought the creation tomestone striking belt and again never recieved the item.

    When I took this issue to support, they told me they couldn't do anything and I had to take it to in-game support. And they proceeded to never give me any sort or response once I put it into an in-game ticket.

    Try this. Use /isearch belt
    The command will bring up a list of every item you own with "belt" on its name in your log.

    Find the one you want in your log, right click -> find item.
    It'll tell you exactly where it's currently hiding.

    I have done this. The items do not exist in my inventory. Even though the game at the time acted like they were given, no item was ever placed in my inventory.

    And you're saying this doesn't happen with any other gear pieces, (like head, body, feet etc) only belts? When did you first start having the issue?

    None that I have checked at least. I've gotten other gear pieces with no issues. Both instances of this happening happened earlier today just before I submitted the original ticket.

    Could it be possible that you didn't actually purchase any belt (perhaps it was another gear piece instead) and the roll from the dungeon went to someone else?

    I would suggest doing a test. When you purchase an item or gear it should say in the chat that it was placed in the player's Inventory or Armoury Chest. If you were to obtain some gear (the ARR starting cities like Limsa are cheap places to do this), see then what is recorded in the chat on purchase and also confirm if it actually gets placed there or not.

    Obviously if there is still issues after testing that then could be a bug that probably needs to be reported.
